Mobility Specific’s primary focus is to help you feel the best in YOUR body. Our workouts are designed to improve posture, mobility, balance and strength.
An important piece of Mobility Specific’s training plan includes assessments to help discover muscle imbalances and areas of weakness in your body.
Any areas of imbalance or muscle weakness will be addressed first to help relieve and prevent pain.
Exercises will be incorporated to increase sense of self-movement and build muscle when your body is ready for additional advances.
Ashley has always had a passion for health and fitness. After she relocated to Lawrence in 2012, she decided to take it to the next level and teach group exercise. She started her group training with yoga (Level 1 Yogafit), multiple Les Mills programs, TRX and Scwinn indoor cycling. Ashley also trains at Kondition Haus and The Jayhawk Club for members only. In 2019, she acquired her certificate in personal training through The National Academy of Sports Medicine. Ashley also has been practicing massage therapy since 2010. Using her knowledge and experience from both skill sets, she emphasizes a corrective and functional approach for all of her clients.
When Ashley is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They are avid sports fans and hiking enthusiasts. They also love traveling back to her home state of Minnesota.
